Hadoop Get Together
The Hadoop Get Together takes place on a regular basis every three months in Berlin. You can find out more about the upcoming Get Togethers online. The event is a great way to get in contact with local (and not so local) Hadoop developers and users. Just show up on the advertised day - registering in advance however increases chances of getting a seat at the beer event after the GetTogether.
Feel free to contact me, if either you would like to give a talk yourself or would like to support the event financially. We are always happy to be able to provide videos of presentations or free beer for attendees. Prizes are comparably low. Supporting the event is a great way to increase your visibility in the Hadoop community and get in touch with potential developers.
